Hi, I'm Victor Smith, the founder of Comes N Handy and a dad to two boys. This journey began in 2023 as I made the move from Virginia Beach to Texas, putting down new roots and starting a new chapter as a Texan. Comes N Handy became a way to build something for my family while helping the neighbors in the community I now call home.

It started with the simple stuff: changing a light bulb (yep, that counts!), assembling furniture, and tackling those ‘I'll get to it this weekend’ lists. Over time, those little jobs grew into home repairs, carpentry, trim work, mounting, and more. The people I helped became the foundation of this business.

After six years working for the government, I decided to take a leap of faith, trusting God and betting on myself. On July 14, 2026, Comes N Handy became my full-time work. It was also my oldest son's eighth birthday, which made the start of this chapter even more meaningful.

Today, Comes N Handy offers home improvements, renovations, remodeling, and general contracting, alongside the small jobs that started it all. If you've got a light bulb you can't reach or a box of furniture parts testing your patience, we're still your people. Whatever the size of the job, you can expect a friendly conversation, clear communication, and straightforward pricing.

For me, Comes N Handy is about faith, family, and showing up for my Texas neighbors. I'm grateful for every customer who's been part of the journey, and I look forward to helping with whatever's next on your list.
